30+ yrs as a mailman. All kinds of part time jobs in that time frame too. Most recently, licensed home inspector for about 9 years now part time. That gig can be lucrative. The mailman gig is holding me back but they got their hooks in me since I am close to minimum retirement age (56). Sticking it out in the post office till age 56 then going full time home inspection.
I used to teach people how to work stuff in their cars....

What's funny....is some dolt at the DEA who never watched Breaking Bad just got a flag after that post, and you are now on a watch list.
Early Retirement,55 yrs old with heart disease,last 4 years 2 pacemakers,arteries are to hardened to stint and I had a morphine pump implanted in my back for chronic neck pain,had 2 major neck surgeries and they can't do anything else hence the morphine pump and I even went to the mayo clinic in Rochester Mn because I didn't believe them. Yep I'm Disabled..

Work for Ford Motor as a engineer in Dearborn for material flow in assembly plants. Currently cost forcasting for future programs. Basically movement of materials within the assembly complex on new model programs in North America. Going back to school this fall to further education from mechanical engineering associates to bachelors degree. Want to get over to Product development in engine test or devolopment...
Agree with others...Grew up working on cars, mechanic, machine maintenance. Many engineers could not even change a tire on a car. Gear head engineer seem to be rare.
