LOL.

Yeah. We're really close, the two of us. :rlaugh:

In all seriousness, I try not to put pics of my girls on the net. They are adopted and the biological parents are criminals, so the wife and I isolate them in that way to keep them safe.

I understand completely. Definitely don't expect to see pictures of kids on here. Couldn't resist the joke. :)

Pulled the fuel pump relay so I can turn the engine over and adjust these puppies. I'll resume that after lunch and a cold beverage. I'm going to have to get acclimated to the heat again. It seems I'm suffering from freon poisoning!:(

Well, crap. It seems my hard wired "buzz fuster" may have drained the life out of my beloved motorcraft battery. I tried to charge her a while and she wasn't having it. Popped the caps, and it was low on H2O. *sigh* We'll charge it some more now that it's topped off. I want to roll it over enough to get some pressure on the lifters to adjust them properly...I guess I'll have to have another beer. @Davedacarpainter

Met my son over at my buddy's house to do some work on the blue fox. On the way to town to buy parts I had to stop and take pics and share. kustom skoopz!!

image.jpeg

image.jpeg

It had a battery disconnect switch, fuel cell and batt box in the rear. Interior was mostly gutted, requisite monster tach and carb aircleaner peeking thru the scoop. Couldn't tell if it was a W or just a 302 with a high rise intake. Whatever it was, it didn't fit under the hood.

Anyhoo, I am hoping to get the ac working in the blue fox. The blower fan actually wasn't working, nor was the selector doo dad to switch between dash/floor/ defrogger. My old pal Jared helped me do the trouble shooting and in about an hour, a switch, and few feet of vacuum line, we have the panel functioning. Now I must order a compressor accumulator kit. Fingers crossed that's all I need.

It was a fun day. Got to hang out with good friends and my kiddo, have lunch with the boy, and then a good spirited drive down some twisty back roads together.
