I am looking into a 2011-14 Mustang. There are no GTs nearby so I drove a V6 today to get a feel for the interior and how the car handles in general. I started on the city streets and it seemed to be pretty good all around. Got to the highway and it seemed to hesitate a little, car could barely get to 60 mph. It just felt like it fell on it's face and had nothing to give. The RPMs didn't go up at all, stayed around 3000-3500 RPMs. Is this normal for the V6? Doesn't seem normal, but I haven't driven a newer Mustang beyond the 10 minute test drive.

By "no GT's nearby", do you mean within walking distance? Otherwise, I find it hard to believe there aren't any GT's within a reasonable driving distance from Topeka, Kansas. Doesn't sound like the power of the V6 is going to satisfy you. I'd keep looking
