Saleen Vortech intake, anyone running one on their foxbody

At least they look good. Like the original GT40 intakes, they command top dollar, but don't perform worth a damn. Still thought....easy on the eyes.

I've wanted one ever since seeing this picture almost a decade and a half ago....

You slightly younger guys had low expectations and goals, back in the early 90's Paxton had a brochure where it had fitted 2 paxtons to a 5.0.
Never saw it in the real world (something that wouldn't fly in modern days with the internet) but was a much more lofty unrealistic goal, lol.

I do kinda remember the twin Paxton concept from the early/mid-90's. Used two ball drive supercharger a if I remember right? Funny how monsterous we all thought it was back then....even though both of them put together probably only made about 12psi and 400hp.

The instacharger was BBK....but it was just an Easton M90. B&M had an Eaton with straight cut gears for the carburetor crowd. It's still around....it was rebadged by Weiand.

Oh yeah, I realize that. I was actually referring to the production of that intake. I don't think Vortech started making them until the mid/late-90's. Same goes for that old A or B-trim blower in the picture.
