The bug ridden front of the car. I swapped the ol' ford logo for steeda. You'll notice my fog lights, and all support bars behind the front valance are removed to save weight. It then cracked the fiberglass there, which I need to fix someday.

Back in 2006 my radiator ruptured in a parking lot. That was awesome. Nothing like sliding under my car to replace and repair my radiator. Even better was the ******* ex-coworker who thought it would be fun to chastise me for working on my car in the parking lot instead of toying it to a garage. grr.

So this is some aftermarket radiator, I think it was the pep boys 3 core model everyone was recommending at the time. And the aluminum catch can seems to have overflowed.

Obviously I can't do any nice outdoor shots, the car hasn't moved in 5 months. But here you can see the LX rear bumper swap, the saleen valence, my brand new historical plates ('cause the car is elderly) and proof that the car is, in fact, a transformer: It transforms money into blood, cursewords, and rusted metal.

Poor mans rear seat delete. I screwed the backs o the old seats to the subwoofer box.

I will second those opinions...use the other intake gasket and better valve covers. If you want a subtle touch and like polishing so much(lol) you can polish the stock valve covers or have them powder coated(they make a "chrome" version). You might have to mess with the baffle to fit though. Very nice build and look forward to your progress.

After pondering it, I agree. I just returned the Summit covers and ordered these:

Pulled out a Romac Red Series balancer to determine if I can/should polish it. I didn't want to sand it as it's very weight specific, but it looks great out of the box already, not sure I can improve upon that too much. I did hit the backside with the mothers polish, but no black residue means this is likely clear coated (yay!) so it won't all the hell like my stock one did. I was concerned when I was reading the instructions about how the drilling the crankshaft is required for installation (doh!) but there is no keyhole on it, so I think the instructions are meant for their race versions, not this street/strip version.

Usually i won't talk this way about someone else's balancer, but that is hot looking!:oops:
 
Some fresh pictures now, I had to spend a great deal of time modifying the Ford Motorsports chrome dipstick to get it to fit. Got the dipstick installed, and the headers installed, and test fitted the new LMR polished valve covers.
