MUSTANG STARTER IGNITION SWITCH INSTALL (79-93)
by Jeff Jimenez
Fox Body Mustang won't start? Watch our install video to see how to replace your ignition starter switch in your 79-93 Stang.
FoxBody Mustangs are notorious for faulty ignition switches. The factory ignition/starter switch is held together by a few crimps. Over the last 2+ decades, these crimps have become brittle and tend to break. When these crimps break, the ignition switch separates into two halves. Once this happens you get all kinds of issues including your Stang not wanting to start, A/C issues or worse they can catch fire!
The 5.0Resto ignition switch fits 79-93 5.0L and 2.3L Mustangs. Installation is super easy and requires only simple hand tools. Follow along in the how to video as Jmac shows you how to replace your Mustang ignition switch. Don’t forget to pick up a set of 5.0Resto ignition switch screws to finish off your installation.
