a quart low? Something is not right. either you have a leak somewhere, or oil is burning past the piston rings/valves. Take it to the dealer.
did you put the factory size gears back in, or a different ratio ?
the 07s had a TSB for the clutch....do you know if yours was ever replaced?...
Do NOT run a dry kit, you will blow the motor.
Get yourself a good wet nitrous kit. A 50-75 shot should be fine. All the safety stuff....WOT...
Very hard to diagnose without a video clip.
If the clutch is working fine, I wouldn't worry about the noise ....Fords are noisy :)
i paid $2000 for my vortech kit which included the FMIC, injectors, and everything else besides the fuel pump which was $100:rolleyes:
410 gears, intake, exhaust for starters
time for some nice aftermarket axles and slicks!
also, if you use antiseize use VERY little, and torque all plugs to 14ft lbs!
compression should be within 10% of eachother.
you have to do a leak down/pressure test to find out where the coolant is leaking from
rings are probably worn, and the nitrous won't help. do a compression test and make sure everything is OK. You could use a thicker oil such as...
do you have the old plastic intake manifold with the plastic coolant crossover? If you do, it could be cracked and leaking coolant into the cylinders...
I doubt it needs that much tuning.
if you wanted cams you could tune the car yourself with SCT Pro Racer....it's fairly simple
