But the other end, where the oil line goes...
I just got my oil filter sandwich adapter which has extra ports for oil feeds etc.
It says that the ports are 1/8 NPT.
There are plugs...
My rack and pinion is shot....power steering fluid shoots out everywhere.
What's the best place (not too expensive) for a new (or reman) rack...

I dunno..like I said the Vortech kit probably came with the t-fitting and the previous owner put it in.
So an '01 has an extra oil...

You're better off just getting a new rack and pinion.
Replacing the seals inside is a PITA.

Last week I noticed that the t-fitting that comes from the oil filter and connects to the oil...
Yeah those rubber bushings that are (I believe) between the rack and pinion and k-member can be like glue.
I took a big screwdriver and wedged...

The little t-piece that comes from the oil filter down to the sensor broke off.
I took off my oil pan to check rod bearings and I disconnected a sensor right under the oil filter.(connected to a pipe that's also...
I removed one of the bearings and it appears that the crank journal might've been scratched a bit by the bearing.
