You already own a good CAI, its called the stock rubber tubing and airbox. Just add a drop-in K&N with the silencer removed and your golden.
Any competent tire shop can fix you up as good as new.
FYI, WalMart ISNT a tire shop. :)
I have a line on a complete '03 Explorer engine for a good price which I am planning to buy (depending on the outcome of this thread).
the Maximum Motorsports c/c plates are awesome. (as mentioned) there is a ton of adjustment range with them and the quality is second to none....
these cams drop right in, there was no shimming required.
i have the Comp 270s, all the specs and info on them is listed here.
i picked up 25.1hp with these cams, im very happy with them.
whoever adjusted the plate in that pic is a butcher. theres no reason for damage like that as the rivots can easily be removed with a small chisel...

bro, do a internet search on the Auburn. there are pics floating around that show the carnage. its ugly.

think again. if you run a sticky tire you will blow that Auburn to smitherines. they are NO GOOD for Drag Racing.
