There are also good power gains by getting your heads ported and replacing the stock cams. A bit costly but well worth it.
The pump and tank are plug and play. They use the same wires as the stock pump. If you are going over 600rwhp I would suggest fuel rails.

The KB bar is NOT NHRA approved. Its more for stiffening but not a ROLLBAR. Removable rear cross bar will not be safe and not be NHRA approved....
I dont think less of the 03/04's but I would love to see Ford make a N/A 400+rwhp Mustang, then add a blower to that. :D
01 stock you should get around 22 to 26 on the highway, after a few mods like I did and you'll get about 1 mile a gallon at WOT. :D
I have CPR fuel rails, I think they came from Modular Performance.
Go with the 03 pump and tank. It will support over 500rwhp and you can add fuel rails and get it over 600rwhp without going return style.
I ran into the same problem using 55's, stock rails, 03 pump & tank, NO boost-a-pump. I replaced the rails and now have great A/F (11.5) out past...
I use the Magnaflows and I'm vary happy with HP! If you want more HP put cutouts in.
I still have the 3650, but when (not if) it goes I'm going with the auto.
My 3650 has held together for around 100 passes, 75 stock and around 25 with some nasty hp and tq on a solid rear. I'm sure it will break this...
