Here's a sneak peak of the new dash we are making. The gauges will be angled towards the driver.
You can still use the brackets to align your holes even on a 69.
All you need to do is bolt the support brackets on the hinges, then drill up through the holes. It will be in perfect alignment.

I've switched to the 70 style glass and had no problems using the 69 regulator
Bonding the two together no matter what method you use, will still result in cracking later down the road.
That's a huge difference.
