If you get a sealed battery like a optima, you don't need a sealed box with a vent tube.
if you do all the prep work beforehand so all they have to do is weld it, I'm am positive the price will be way cheaper.

They sell battery boxes that have vent tubes. You drill a small hole in your trunk and run the tube through there. Simple.
