" LT Headers + full exhaust, Drag radials, and gear would get me into the 12s....."
This should get you in the 12s with practice A hit of N2O...
If it's doing anything for you, it's only until the engine warms up.
Do it! It will help you get out quicker.
:jester: Best thread ever!!
my car burns out with the 4.10s without the motor running
You will need Adobe Acrobat to view this.
It should be a direct bolt-in.
Lookin' good. 315s in the rear?
my old one # 4076 with a lot of body mods
Maybe your rear's clutch packs are worn. Does it tend to kick to one side when you lose traction?
Are you saying that it has IRS?
Yes, but now I know otherwise.
I was referring to 4.10 gears over his 3.73s.
Is he planning to drag this car a lot? Daily driver?
Longtube headers and a shorty x, 4.10s!, subframe connectors to stiffen that bastard up... Beyond that it gets a little more expensive but I would...
Does it not pull as hard? Or just hooks up and it's slow? :D
The sound from my exhaust appears to be emanating from behind the vehicle. A nice mean roar from idle to 2000. At 2000-2500 RPM, it seems to move...
Nitto ZRs are affordable and hook pretty well.
Tampa here, nothing serious going on yet but the wind is picking up... Thanks everyone for your concern.
Stock rev limiter is 6250. I wouldn't trust these cranks with over 6500, especially on a regular basis.
Stock block @ 500 hp? Yeah. Stock rods?? NO! :)
