I've never had a stock shifter, but when I go into 3rd it doesnt' just slide in. It's like it hits something, then pops in. I can never make it...

easy to do, make sure a new gasket is useed which should come with the t-stat. use a torque wrench, and like they said...might as well do a coolant...

Take it from me, someone who got the 3.73 :( go with the 4.10's you won't regret it.
I wouldn't go with anything but the FRPP gears. But thats me.
I get about 245-260 with little to no highway driving. Thats with 3.73's.
I have the Tri-Ax. But if I had to do it again I would get the 5.0. I drove my cousins 01 with the 5.0 and liked it 10 times better.

This works pretty good on mine.
fan_high_speed_ECT1_on = 195
fan_high_speed_ECT2_on = 200
fan_high_speed_ECT_off = 190
I used Testors model paint and it did the job. Year later still look new.
