Without those egr holes in the intake, egr isn't working...at this point pull the egr off and Ditch it
Chevys been building crap bodies since the 80s.. The fox mustang is the perfect and cheap platform for hot rodding... Ford's newer motors are way too...
You will see no performance gains in using a 4.6 or 5 .4... For your car 351 the best route

That's pretty minor...I assume you ruled out exhaust leak too? put some miles on it..may quiet down more

Have you ever actually worked on a car? I wouldn't expect a gunked up lifter to stop ticking while warm... Sure more than likely it is a bad lifter...
What does your clutch pedal feel like? Often a clutch that is too loose will have tons of slop at top of the pedal and it won't be going to get Stiff...
While the t45s can have internal.fork issues, it would be difficult to.shift too with engine off if there was internal issues..stiff clutch and...
Uh..the same way that stuff in bottles at parts stores cure it. How do you know he has a mechanical Failure? Can't tell you how many noisy lifters...
No no, bad clutch cable, or too loose of adjustment...the fork is just fine.
U can try it..I poured a bottle into my ram.. Into the brake booster line while it was running. Smoked a ton but not sure if it made a difference.
This happens all the time.. just have someone depress the clutch pedal, while u shove the trans in... it'll slide right in
