General consensus is UPR or Maximum Motorsports. I like UPR for the lifetime warranty.

If it were me, I would keep it around the 2400-2600 range based off what you have told me.
I have had good luck with the UPR chrome moly with the urethane bushings for the the street even with the solid bushings.

The Mach 1 motors with the manual trans have forged internals from the factory. If you can get it, you will have lots of potential.

Cam size? Which heads? and pretty much need every other bit of info about your engine and trans. Where will the majority if the driving take place?
Pretty much trial and error. Put it on, check it, loosen it up, adjust, tighten it, check it again and repeat until you got it.
