yup sounds like your alternator just crapped out. take it your local parts store and have it tested.
did you have to cut sheet metal to get those in? I remember the 79-82 tail panel being different somehow.
I know for a fact you will lose hp. Don't do this. You want it to lope? Pull a vac line.
For piece of mind if you want to replace the wiring I'm sure you could. Fresh positive and beefier negative cable with an inline fuse. In all honesty...
For 2k that's a bargain.if it checks out you could stand to make money on that car.
I'm not sure what just happened here but I like it
Damn that's some **** right there
He used to have a build thread at corral. His hp claims are a little big, but there's no denying that is one sexy Mark..
I love what this guy did with his. I would drive that all daylong
Never seen a 125 blow. Only issues I've seen were poor connections causing shorts. If you pop a 125 you have something pulling some serious juice.
Yeah.... Stock 5.0. If you have a hard on for that car grab it if the rest is as clean as you say. I've always liked them abd they make fantastic...
honestly unless you plan on getting a matching set of heads for that intake sometime soon I would just sell it and put that money towards baby stuff...
Are you using a stock distributor?
Four lug cobra r's are pretty cheap these days
Why not strip and polish those 10 holes. They look sharp when they are shiny.
If I was building a show car I wouldn't be using stock seats.
Really sounds like be clutch/ flywheel was tightened out of balance.
May be kind of crude but perhaps run a length of wire from the o2 connector to where you can test the ecu.
What size tires are you running? Sounds like tram-lining to me.
Ask him to provide documentation. Sounds like a 351w from a truck if you ask me. Is it still efi?
