    Are the steering rack lines normally "loose"

    I was under the car doing a oil change and happened to grab one of the PS lines going to the rack. I have no leaks but the lines seem to be looser than I would expect.     Thinking of welding straight pipes, instead of mufflers

    I didnt find much on a search.......... Ive had this GT for a year now and its still all stock. I need some kind of exhaust sound. I dont have money for weld in mufflers now. So.....I was thinking about taking the car down to my favorite exhaust shop and having them cut out the stock mufflers...
