    Steering Rack Fittings

 I need to make a pressure side power steering hose to fit a 1992 rack in a 1970 mustang. The return hose port on the rack is 16mm x 1.5 but the pressure side on the rack is smaller. Is it 14mm x 1.5 by chance? Of course I bought two 16 x 1.5 fittings. I live 105 miles from the store so...

Stiffening front subframe with M II suspension

Here is what I am doing to stiffen the front subframe on my 70 Sportsroof. It's quick and easy and should provide significant torsional and beam stiffness. Some leftover 1 1/2" X .095 tubing and some 3/16" strap. It is all confined within the width of the subframe rails so does not intrude in...

Fox pedal assembly in 1970 Mustang

Just shows what you can do if you are retired and have too much time. I wanted to try and use the pedal assembly from my 92 LX donor car so I would not have any "custom" stuff and could buy parts at the corner auto parts store on the road. I had to modify the 92 pedal bracket, bend the brake...

    Stress Analysis Software O/T

Does anyone know of any affordable ( for an old retired geezer) stress analysis software that will run on a Windows based fairly powerful PC? Al the neat stuff stayed at work when I retired. Howard

    Difficult but necessary O/T kinda

I want to apologize to most of the members on this forum for allowing myself to get sucked into a ridiculous discussion on the Mustang II topic. I know better than that and I am ashamed of myself. Maybe those reading got enough info from the discussion to make an intelligent decision on the...
