    351W into a 68 - How easy/hard?

I know it has been discussed before, but what mods need to be done to make this work? I am hoping it is very straight forward as I want to put the 351W (completely rebuilt) into my 68 coupe. Thanks in advance.

    68 Front end swap questions

My 68 was originally to be parted out, but since I sold my fastback I have decided to restore it. It needs the typical body parts such as floors, fender aprons, rear quarter patch etc. However, the front spindles and all brake components, backing plates, etc. have been removed and sold. What...

Just bought a donor, need help/opinions

I just bought a 1982 Mustang with a 302. The motor is rebuilt with 500 miles on it and it has a 5 speed (the original tranny). Can I do a direct swap into my 68, it is a c code and the original motor is seized solid. What kinds of mods need to be done so that the tranny fits properly? It...

67 Coupe Project update - Pics and a question

I now have 4 new fender aprons welded in, the floor pans are in, the front frame rails are repaired, the front floor supports are in, and the rear floor pans are in. I have the rear tail panel ripped out but found a lot of damage done to the rear frame rails also so I have more frame repairs to...

    Need Help/Advice Please

I moved back to my home town of Calgary, Alberta after a 3 year stay in St. Louis, MO. I made a friend there (really, I did) in the classic Mustang interest who is a mechanic. I knew him for most of my 3 years in STL, and he helped me very often with my 67 fastback and I assisted him with...

What front end components do I need to remove and which can stay? I have a donor car to do the swap. 67 VIN locations

We are making one good car out of two, one is a V8 car and the other is a 6 cyl. The 6 cyl car is the main car, but alot of the components are going to be from the V8. We would use the V8 car to begin with, except that the frame is bent pretty good, much more than just the pillar. The engine...

    OMG, anyone seen this before

This is one of the worst modded cars I have ever seen, http://www.dealsonwheels.com/search/detailbig.cfm/Autos__ID/103357. Why couldn't it at least have been a Camaro?

Tonight I say goodbye to my fastback

Well, it is a sad night, the new owner is here to pick up the fastback, and of course he loves it. So I bid my fastback a fond farewell and thank it for the great memories I will keep from it. Knowing I will find a convertible really seems to help getting through this.

Possibly buying a 67 coupe rolling chassis - questions

I found a 67 coupe rolling chassis which is in MUCH better condition than the project. It is a v8 car too so the conversion is much easier. We are picking it up this weekend if it is as the fella described and it should be much simpler. For instance, it doesn't need frame rails, engine...

    67 coupe project pics

Well, there is some progress being made, I have cut out the front fender aprons on the driver side leaving the shock tower in to line up with. I have also cut away the seat pan on the driver's side, welded the cowl repair panels in and sealed them. I will then test the seal and add paint...
