I just removed the oil filter and a spring with some kind of a dowel pin came out. Now, i don't know wich side is up for the pin. Does the flat side goes against the spring or inside the valve body?

I'm looking for a dual chamber, 7/8" bore with the outlets towards the fender and preferably for front disc and rear drums. This is for a 67 with a Wilwood front discs set up.
