    Convert stock alt to 130amp?

    I have heard that there are kits to rebuild your stock alternator to get 130 amps. Is that true? If so, what company sells them, or where can I find them? I need to get a new alternator, but cannot afford a 130amp right now. Anyone have experience with these? Thanks
