    Can't get drum spindles off of lower A-arms

    This is driving me nuts and I know I'm probably just too slow to pickup something obvious (Like I need a bigger hammer). I'm tearing out all the suspension out of my 66. I got the spindles off of the uppers and off the tie-rods without a problem. I can't get the spindles off of the lowers. I...

    Dumb Question, but I'll ask just to make sure.

    Is it safe to jack up the back of car with the floor jack on the rear diff? My floor jack is more then big enough for the weight but I don't want to damage my rear-end. The front is already up (again), so I want to get the rear up all at once to minimize the chance of the car being off...
