I figure everybody likes to see new wheels. I sold my Coys C-55's earlier this year and just got these put on. They're Cragar Eliminator 500's, 17x7 front and rear. Tires are 225/45 front and 235/45 rear. I'm extremely happy with how they turned out!
Hey guys, I finally got new wheels for my 65 so I thought I'd post some pics. I know how much everybody likes posts with pictures. Here they are:
Coys C-55's
Front: 17x7, 4.25" BS, 215/45/17 Hankook
Rear: 17x8, 4.75" BS, 245/45/17 Hankook
Hey Guys, I'm looking for opinions/input.
While I have an appreciation for all Mustangs, I've always been partial to the classic Mustings over the later models. However, I love the new ones and I've been confronted with a tempting opportunity to aquire a wrecked '07 Mustang GT Calfornia...
Just like the title says. I have a 351W and toploader in my car. I've bought a couple of starters for it at Autozone and have always had to buy the automatic trans starter. The manual starter would not fit in the hole in the dust shield. The lip on the starter was too big in diameter to fit...
I have 65 Mustang with a Stainless Steel Disc Brakes conversion on the front. It's the stock style system with the four-piston calipers, nothing fancy. I just had them rebuild my passenger caliper under warranty due to fluid leaking out around the pistons all over my pads and rotor. They were...
I'm in the process of reupolstering the rear seat of my 65 coupe with standard interior. I took the old covers off last night and removed all of the listing wires. There was a listing wire across the top of the backrest about 3-4 feet long, one on each side of the center hump on the cushion...
My car has 620 springs and the shelby drop in the front and 4-leaf standard-eye springs in the rear. With this setup the car had a slight rake to it. The ride wasn't bad, but it was a little choppy. I've put 5-6000 miles on the car with this setup, so everything has had time to settle...
Can anybody direct me to a good website that identifies all the subtle differences between a true 65-66 Mustang GT and a clone?
Thanks in advance.
Jonathan
It seems like I have to reset my timing way too often. Every now and then I park my car to run in somewhere for about 10 minutes, it won't turn over when I come back out. If I let it cool off, it turns over just fine. Nine out of ten times this happens, once I get it started I'll check my...
Has anyone had trouble with their plug wires popping off the spark plugs by themselves?
I have a set of 9mm Ford Racing wires on my 351w that keep popping off while the engine is running. Usually, I just find one wire at a time that has come off. But, yesterday I was letting it warm up in...
My Griffin aluminum radiator has developed a small leak and I can't seem to find where it's coming from. :notnice:
Does anybody know a good way to find it? Is there a good sealant I can use to fix it without clogging up my cooling system?
I've checked my hoses and it's not them...
Laurel Mountain Mustang advertises good prices on interior kits. So does Texas Mustang. Do all distributors pretty much get their stuff from the same suppliers or does quality differ from place to place? How about weather stripping?
If quality does differ, who do you guys...
Somebody please tell me you've been in the same boat before!
My car went into the body shop and was supposed to be started on soon after that in early September and be done in 4-6 weeks. My car sat in the back of the shop untouched for over 6 weeks while he moved in all these...
