ok i drove my car into the driveway....took off the upper/lower intake manifold, new gaskets/sealer...put my cobra/explorer on....put the distributor in at the mark.... now the engine will not turn at all, battery is charged...starter turns fine...its like the crank wont turn....what gives...
the stock gap for my motor is ~.54-.55 .... i have an ignition box, msd coil and some 8.5mm superconductors....can i open the gap to ...say ~.58-.60 or higher even....
yay i have sucessfully converted to mass air with an A9L, 24# injectors and a 73mm c&l meter:nice: .....my problem is while i can see 4.7v off of the tps harness plug.... the tps reads 0.00v when plugged in and only goes to 0.06v when turned all the way...the is a brand new tps and another new...
it goes inline with the TPS, how does it work...when i had it installed just now, i couldnt get the idle right, it would hang at 2000rpm while driving or coasting to a stop...

i have a hyfire ignition box and a blaster TFI coil...but im also using some cheapy autolite plug wires....and i want to get some new wires like right now...i was looking at the pertronix 8mm wires or should i drop another $20 and get some msd 8.5mm super conductors....
right now i have some autolite premium 8mm silicone wires, and the stock coil. i want to get some FMS 9mm wires and a crane or msd coil....but can only stick one in my budget..... what would be the more worthwhile purchase...
i'm stoked, i just drove 100 miles on 6 gallons of gas, an there is still a bit to go on the gas guage; i dont know how low it goes before its really empty and i dont want to find out. but there is still a few miles in there.... but its wierd, i put a mallory hyfire VIA in there and set my fuel...
how might a bad IAC valve behave? mine is acting wierd, if i start the car it will idle around 1100 then slowly drop to ~600-700, then when ever i press the gas it will do it again...but if i unplug the IAC it idles constant 700....so is my IAC bad?
