    Slack in the steering wheel

    There's about a good 1-2 inches of slack in the steering wheel; meaning that i can move the steering wheel left and right, and it doesn't move the wheels. If i turn off the car, and lock the steering wheel, the slack is gone. Anyone have any ideas what to check for first? Thanks!

    tis on removing seats?

    I know sounds stupid, but I snapped 2 bolts taking out the passenger side seat. I'm using a 15mm socket/ratchet combo for the 2 rear bolts, and a 15mm wrench for the 2 front nuts. I tried to remove a rear bolt on the drivers side, and it didn't feel good; felt like it was going to give again.
