    I just dropped a KN filter in the stock box, and it is noisy at idle. You can hear a distinct hissing sound all the time inside the car. I looked at a 98GT todAY with a BBK CAI and it was actually quiet???? Why is mine so loud??

    Had UPR-Xpipe installed by shop, on the 96GT and sounds like a little clicking going on. Not too bad, but noticeable. I went back twice and no leaks found. Is this common with the x-pipe since we have 2 convertors instead of 6?? I have had exhaust leaks before, and this is slightly different...

    Hey, I did pullies a few mustangs ago on a pre 99 like I have now being a 1996 model. I remember the car pulling much harder off the line. Would it be accurate to say HP is negligible, but torque might be 5-10 ft/lbs???? Has anyone had problems with the Steeda brand pullies. Are there any gains...

    UPR or PYPES brand catted X-pipe????

    Anyone tried a UPR or Pypes brand X pipe?????? Havent seen too many posts on either one of these. Both appear about the same in looks and are alluminized. I have a bassani cat back, and want a catted midpipe. Pypes cost about $225 with cats vs. Bassani about $400 or so delivered????

    I have a 96 GT auto, and just did the performance tune and went back and set the shifts to full hard. I was actually very impressed. The car pulled much better from 3500-5500 RPM, and spun tires hard off the line, and goes a little sideways into second even. Only other mods are bassani cat back...

    boring white paint

    Has anyone had racing stripes laid on their white mustang to break up the monotony of the boring white pallet. I was quoted 400 to have the car computer designed and then cut 2 dark blue stripes to run from front to back. They also do a tapered pin stripe on the side with mustang written in it...

    Im starting a new stang project and am now at the cai. Is the CL set-up any good where they give you a new 80mm mass air housing and the kn filter. Just wondering what to get.     speedometer fixed after gear install

    the problem I had was just disturbed wires near the speed sensor, and they were grounding out. The wire shroud was in poor condition from the heat of the exhaust. One in a million 5 minute fix finally in my favor. Usually I get handed a huge bill, but not today!!!!!

    410 gear reduce my 0-60 time???

    Hi, today 410 put in 1996 auto GT. Girlfriends car i prefer 5-speed. Anyway, lets say we hit 60 with stock gear in 7 seconds. Do you think the gears put me at 6.5????????? MAybe that is too optimistic. What do you guys say??

    Long tubes??

    Hi, I was considering long tubes on a 1999GT. Is it worth the $700. I have weld in mufflers, and some intake improvements to compliment the headers. Does sound or performance change any after install on the BBK for example. Any help is much appreciated!
