    can you hear the smog pump blowing air?

    I have an annoying shhhhhh type of sound when accelerating, its really noticable when going over a bridge or somewhere where the sound reflects off the sides...i was wondering if maybe i am actually hearing the air blowing into my exhaust? would it hurt anything to take off the belt and drive...

    tb breather , valve cover fiasco ??

    when i bought my car someone had just put non efi valve covers on it, so there was no oil filler at all :notnice: ...and obviously no hose to the throttle body ...it was just left open....but it ran fine......i put some valve covers on and ran a hose from the tb to the nipple on the valve covers...

    Intake fitting is hitting the valve cover ?help?

    Ok, i got some of those efi ford racing valve covers with the ridges on top, well on the drivers side , on the bottom of the upper intake there is a fitting with hoses going to the front and rear ...this fitting is hitting the valve cover and keeping the intake from seating all the way down ...

    can someone identify this?

    on the firewall passenger side directly below the 2 heater core hoses,and down about 6 inches or so there is a round rubber grommet with a hose sticking out about 1/2 inch, it is dripping antifreeze onto my exhaust...is this something to do with the heater core ?
