    How Much HP Will It Handle???

    I'm putting in a 550-plus hp 460 in my '87 GT. It will also have a 175hp Fogger. I was wondering how much hp will the stock 8.8 handle? I have rebuilt it with a fresh clutch pack. Is there necessarily a need to upgrade to an aftermarket differential and 31 spline axles? Thanks for the help!

    460 v 351w

    I have a 69 fatsback that I want to cruise with. I want great low end and good highway cruise range (a/c too!!). The car has the 351w now and I was wondering, would upgrading to the 460 be a good choice? I'm look at the cubic inches. I was thinking with the 460, I could go with 3.08 gears...
