Can anyone tell me when the compressor on the 1998 Mustang Cobra is supposed to run. I have heard different stories from different dealers. One said that it will only not run when OFF (obviously) or when on vent. It runs at all other times.
My 98 Cobra has a humming noise mostly in 4th and 5th gears when I step on the gas. When you take your foot off the gas the humming stops. It is loud enough so I can't enjoy the sound of the exhaust. Has anyone else experienced this problem?????
