    new replacement engine blows blue smoke

    We installed a junk yard 5.0 HO engine out of a '91 Mustang with 30,000 miles on it into my son's '89 LX this weekend. While test driving it, after a good warm up, it blows blue smoke out both exhausts when accellerating hard. What could be causing this, and how do we test to narrow the problems...

    larger 4-lug front brakes?

    Does anyone know of a company selling larger 4-lug front brakes? I'd like to upgrade to a larger diameter rotor without tossing the 4-lug wheels (16"). All of the upgraded brake kits I have seen require changing to a 5-lug setup.

    blows blue smoke after startup

    Hey guys. Please help me with a problem on my son's 89 LX 5.0. He recently bought this car, and is in the process of fixing all the drag mods done by the previous owner. The problem is that the car starts and runs fine, but blows a ton of blue smoke upon acceleration. Doesn't do it at startup...
