    Just washed my car in this heat, and the freakin windshield cracked :notnice: So how hard is it to install a windshield if I want to try this myself? And what a good price for one? TIA.

    Severe wheel hop from 89 GT....quad shocks?

    Suspension is all stock as far as I know, and this thing wheel hops really bad. Maybe the quad shocks are wore out? Could the shocks also play a role in it?

    How to remove windshield wiper on 89 GT?

    I thought there was a little clip you pushed back and then the wiper would just pull right off. Tried that, no luck....am I missing something? :shrug:

    Anyone do their own window tint?

    Thinking about saving a few bucks and doing mine myself. The only 2 things I've heard that you have to do for sure for a good job is use a window cleaner with no amonia and use good tint. Anyone got any more details? What would be a good cleaner and good tint? TIA.

    Need help removing 2 things from paint....

    I taped off around the door and quarter glass trim on my 89 GT to Krylon the trim. Well it looks a lot better, but I got some Krylon paint on the quarter panel :bang: Can I get this off? Also I ran out of scotch tape and used another type of tape on one part and it wouldn't easily peel away...

    Decent/cheap 6.5 coax's?

    I'm just doing a simple system for now and will put 2 sets of 6.5 coax's in an 89 GT powered off head unit power.     Nasty Ponies.....what to clean with?

    Just got some ponies for my 89 GT, but they are really dirty. Regular car wash with lots of hard scrubbing still wouldn't get the perfectly clean. Is there anything really good to use here? Thanks.

    Anyone ever fit 6.5's behind the factory door speaker grills? I'd imagine they'd have to be slim (maybe 2" deep or less?).

    Air filter ?

    In another thread, people were talking about how a C&L meter needs a straight piece of pipe in front of it to smooth out turbulance so the meter would read correctly. How about for a stock meter? I have a K&N bolted directly to the stock meter now, doesn't seem to be any problems though...

    I don't think there's any difference in the meter or the electronics, but need to make sure since I only have a 93 meter laying around to go on an 89. TIA.

    Can I identify the factory gear on my 89 GT from the door tag?

    There's one part of the door tag that is labeled "AX". Does that mean axle? Under it is the letter M. Anyone know how to identify the gear or where a good reference place is to get nik nak info like this? Thanks :nice:

    89 GT, temperature guage not working....

    So what things should I check? If I understand correctly, there are 2 coolant temperature sending units (cts's) on the car. One at the front of the intake, and another somewhere on a heater hose? I have a mulitmeter if that'll need to be used. Thanks for any help :nice:
