    Ok so the car has been sitting for the past 10 years and I'm getting her back on the road. I ran new parking brake cables today and didn't insert a pin in the ratcheting mechanism when I took the cables off. Is there a how to somewhere on how to wind the spring back the correct way?

    transmission problem

    what would cause a transmission not to shift to 3rd? when driving it wont shift to third the engine revs when it is supposed to shift, if you shut overdrive off it stays in second and the rpms clime but it does not neutral out. I just changed the torque converter trying to fix this problem...

    The car is an 01 mustang, the tranny makes a whinning sound when in neutral, when you shift into drive it sounds fine. it shifts fine untill around 40 or so mph. then the rpms clime and the car does not go anywhere, could this be anything besides the od band being fried?

    car worked on now keyless/alarm not workin

    My girlfriend just had a new top put on her 01 mustang, and when she got it back the alarm/keyless does not work. when you hit the lock button the horn honks once and nothing happens.... any ideas???

    rtv on flywheel bolts

    I replaced my clutch and flywheel last fall, however i did not use any rtv on the flywheel bolts. is this going to be a problem??? I need to take out my tranny again so it wouldent be a huge deal to do it but i really dont want to take the clutch out again if i dont have to....

    (remote starter) car cranks but does not start

    it is an 01 v6 with a remote starter... the car starts fine with the key, but when you try to use the remote starter the car just cranks but wont start.. any ideas???

    I am looking into getting a stroker kit this winter... which one should i go with. oviousley i want the bigger one, but i have hear the 331 will last longer and the 347 has oil issues... any opinions???

    changed clutch now tranny problems

    i just changed my clutch. flywheel, pilot bearing,rms,clutch fork,and tob.. when i took it for a test drive i couldent shift into 2nd or forth it just grinded 1st 3rd and 5th and reverse were fine... does it sound like bad synchronizers. everything was find b4 the clutch install...
