    Other than the feeling the car falls on it's face at WOT, does the car run okay, just driving around say? Any dyno tuners in your area? May be worth a trip to get it lined out. Coud be running lean at WOT as well. Have you played with the fuel pressure any to see if it wants more or less fuel?

    Reason I ask is that black smoke billowing from the tailpipes is usually indicative of an overly rich condition. Did you plug your spout connector back in when you last timed the car?

    The black car in my really cheesy video is my '89 LX and it has Kook's 1-3/4 inch headers, 3-inch Dr. Gas, and 3-in Flowmaster Super 40's with tailpipes.

    Seriously though, these guys are right about the ol' heel-brake, toe-gas method, not to be confused with the toe-brake, heel-gas that road racers use to downshift. It works really well and just takes a little practice. You may just want to sit in the car and practice pedaling with the car off...
