    The back glass cutain is a seperate piece and easy to install. It zips on top and staples at the bottom. The Top is a different story. Two words...Upholstery shop. The top is a PITA. The labor to install will cost more than the top itself, but worth the time and aggravation it'd cause doing it...

    170K..and over 20 years old!!! 1986 model to boot! Never been rebuilt. Valve covers,Intakes, TB have never been off.

    IMHO.....5 lug conversion with Wheels, 93 Cobra spoiler and tail lights, 82 GT hood scoop. Or if you put an 86 LX front on you could do the proverbial Saleen Clone. Yes there were Saleen's in 86.

    If you have an 86 block, you have E6 heads and flat top pistons. Until those are gone anything you are doing is moot. E6 Heads flow like poo. Hence the 58MM TB and smaller E6 upperintake on a Stock 86HO. Right now the headers are probably overkill, as is the explorer intake. 19's are...

    Ported the heads may be worth a few $$. The parts are worth something to somebody wanting to do a councours resto. I'd take free E7's and an 87 uppr. Having to buy a H/C/I combo...stock...even 87+stuff wouldn't be my choice. Edlebrock and trickflow gear if I'm buying.

    All I can say is that if Flat top pistons are good, why did ford only use them for 86 model 5.0s? I hate them, I hate E6 heads too....hate, hate hate.:mad: They are great for compression, but mess up your cam and head selection. :shrug:
