I am building a very similar combo to yours. 357W, Afr 205's, 10:1, Rpm Air Gap, FTI custom hyrdaulic roller, etc.. I didn't even bother trying with the stock T5. Sold it last year, my TKO 600 just arrived today.

In my experience either the TFI module works or it doesn't. A bad coil might act up like that when it gets hot but the TFI is more of an all or nothing thing. If the car runs it works!!!!! Pat.

I believe I read somewhere that a new modified clutch fork, longer I think, is preferable when installing a TKO in a mustang. I just ordered my TKO 600 and a McLeod bellhousing. Could someone please fill me in on whether I should be investing in a new fork as well? Any info or links to...

Any particular reason you chose the Edelbrock's Scott? The AFR's seem to win most of the power shootouts I read in mags. Was it a price or availablilty issue? Pat.

Aren't some of those nuts down below the headlights a real barrel of fun to take off. I think I bashed all my knuckles on that job. Take it off if you want a nicer job.

Sounds like the regulator is allowing the fuel to drain back to the tank. The reg should retain pressure for a little while after you shut if off. I don't mean overnight or anything like that. If you can put a guage on the fuel line run the car and then shut it off and observe the gauge...

Rebuild motor usually.. or put thicker oil in it. Blow by usually means worn rings. Have you checked your PCV system?

I bought one of those cheap aftermarket units. Almost cost me a motor when it stopped working in traffic in the heat of summer. It was three weeks old. Parts store replaced for free. That one didn't last any longer. POS I say. Black Magic fan now......no more problems.

I have a set of 1 3/4 BBK longtubes for installing a 351W in a fox mustang. I am pretty sure that the literature says that they will only clear a manual bellhousing. I am wondering if anyone has some firsthand knowledge of what these headers will really clear? .C4, AOD??

Just buy an airpig.....way faster than those silly little portable cigarette lighter compressors. Fill it up to like 100PSI and you'll have lots of air for refills.

Yeah those numbers seem a little low for the combo. My friends car makes around 1000hp at the wheels with 400 CI, Victors, Super Victor(ported), Dominator and 300hp shot of spray. Car runs 8.2 at 165 mph at 2950lbs. The only real difference I see is the carb. Maybe a restriction? What size...
