    Painless 20121 (67 Mustang) Harness - Disappointed

I went through the same problem two years ago. The painless is not all that bad I like the fact that it has extra wire so you can route the wires how you like as I hid all mine. I bought a big weather pack connector kit from jegs and used all new sealed connectors for junctions. If you want...

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

I drilled the rivets out with a drill, it only took about 5min per rivet with a cordless drill and two sizes of drill bits. The metal is not too hard. My tracks hang over some in the rear when the seat is back but at that point I can not reach the pedals and am 5'11". I liked the stock tracks...

    My Car

Nice work, it looks like you have done most of the hard things. Firewall looks good. What are specs. on the wheels and tires, are they going to stay on the car? Like the wheels. What engine are you going to use. Car should be slick when done. Keep the pics coming.

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

Pakrat you are right the seat track does overhang the seat mount some but I really liked the position of the seat so I figured I could deal with it. The funny thing is I actually gained leg room for the people in the rear seat because the seat is fairly thin. I have the seats in the car at...

Has anyone installed Fiero seats in their car?

Are the 65-66 seat mounting bolts in a different location than a 67-68 mustang? I was able to use the fiero seat brackets with a few minor modifications in a 1967 mustang. I did not even try to use the stock seat track because it looked like it would take more work to use them because they are...

    anyone ever use sylvania's xe7r 7" bi-xenon reflector headlights?

I have been thinking of doing this to my 67 with the 7inch lights. The only draw back is the price, the lowest price on a quality kit with ballast ect. is about $500 per light. There is also a street rod company that makes a kit very similar with about the same price. I have been checking into...

    BEST MUSTANG OF ALL TIME!!?

My favorite mustang of all times would have to be the only GT 500 super snake 427. Over 500 hp and the good looks of the shelby gt500. My favorite obtainable mustang is the 1967 mustang coupe looks good as a classic stocker or a restomod.

    Put more 275's on a 65 coupe.

mdjay I know this thread is about the 65-66 mustangs but will you gain the same increase in tire space when using the "poor mans mini tub" on a 1967 mustang? I would like to run as wide a rim as possible in the rear of my mustang. Thanks!

    331 or 347 Stroker?

500 rwhp should not be a problem with a 331 and 10lbs. At 14-15lbs there are many people making over 600rwhp with fairly simple combinations. Your goal of 400 to 500 hp should be no problem for rwhp or at the flywheel being as I am not sure which you are meaning.

Photoshop, I want ALL your opinions!

I really like the combo and I like the fact that it is different. That is not the colors I would have chosen but they look surprisingly good together and I think the black wheels do blend better.

    Supercharger question

The F cam is a good cam but not the ideal choice with a blower. I believe it has too much valve overlap but I do not remember the specs. for sure. There are many good cam choices without having to go a custom cam, although a custom cam will possibly get you slightly better results. The trickflow...

    3.73 or 4.10

If you are worried about the 1/4 mile I would look at where in the rpm range you are going through the traps. As stated above by 86bluecobra he pulled a 1.6 with 3:73. If you are going through the traps at redline or where your peak is I would not go up on gears. You could also run shorter tires...

TO MASS AIR CONVERSION, OR NOT TO MASS AIR CONVERSION????

I went quicker with a bone stock engine and 3:55 gears with SD compared to after I converted to a MAF. Depending on where you plan to go with your engine mods should be the deciding factor to conert your car over. I knew I was going to add a blower and cam is the reason I converted. Your car...

Please post pics of either tachs or shift lights..

I am not real good at posting pictures but if it does work you can just see my shift light on the left side of the gage cluster. Not a real great picture of the shift light, I figured I usually only use the shift light so I did not buy an aftermarket tach. I like to try to hide my gages/shift...

    Best street heads?

Another vote for TW heads, if you want to spend the money I would go with the 185cc CNC ported TW. One of the highest flowing 185cc heads out. Also has good mid lift numbers for good mid range. Makes a great street head. For a purely street driven 302 185cc is probably the biggest intake port I...

Are ARP Headbolts Ok? or should i do studs?

The other good thing about studs is you get a more accurate torque reading when you tighten down the heads. Probably not significant but another point. The problem with studs is you may have problems getting them out or the head off with limited engine room so I have been told. I always try to...
