new times with the 331 (im getting there)...

You should be trapping at least 112. Poor traction isn't going to affect your trap speed much so you've got other problems. I would get it on a dyno and see what your power curve and a/f ratio look like.

    Should I stroke my 306? Will my heads/intake support a 331/347?

Entirely a personal choice. It'll cost more but it'll also make more power. No. Your CR will be determined by which pistons you choose. If you're keeping it NA, shoot for around 10.5:1. If you want to plan for a blower, keep it around 9:1. If you're going to add a blower later on...

    A3M1 ... EEC-IV???

    Most likely. Yes.

    A3M1 ... EEC-IV???

The A3M (and A3M1) is the factory replacement for the A9L and is basically identical to it.

    stock lifters? not enough?

No, you have no need for aftermarket lifters. TWs tend to be a little noisier than other stud mount heads. If you want less noise, run more preload. I run 1/4 turn because I care more about the little extra power, but 1/2-3/4 turn will be quieter.

    Potential emissions tricks, worth trying???

Pulling the plug on an injector is actually a very good way to help pass. It just turns one cylinder into a big air pump. Been there, done that, it works. Pulling the spout is also a good idea. Those things being said, there's no way you should have problems passing with a stock motor...

    bad dyno numbers.....

I don't know where you get your info, but all Mustang mass air EECs use the meter at wot. Wrong. WOT is the easiest to get right with a cal'd mass aior meter. Idle and part throttle are much more difficult because you're metering a much smaller amount of fuel.

    bad dyno numbers.....

The EEC does not ignore the mass air sensor at wot.

    Southside Machines install questions...

They do tend to be noisier than other control arms. Depending on the rest of your suspension setup they can clunk.

    Southside Machines install questions...

One more thing, you absolutely have to weld the seams between the vertical Southside flanges and the stock control arm brackets. I'm talking about the seam between the two bolts in the picture. If you don't, the bolts from flange to bracket will hollow out the holes. I've been running...

    Friggin Neutral Saftey switch!

Just cut the four wire plug off, jumper the two neutral safety switch wires together, and then use two bullet connectors to plug the reverse lights into the T-5. The clutch switch has nothing to do with this problem since you have an original AOD car.

347 guys, whats your combo and numbers?

"Compucar 150hp shot of NOS" C'mon cab233, don't be a clueless ricer. NOS = Nitrous Oxide Systems. It's a brand name. If you have a Compucar kit you don't have NOS. You have nitrous, or N2O.

    bad dyno numbers.....

With good sized heads and a big intake, you need a lot more cam. Give one of the good custom cam guys a call - Ed Curtis, Buddy Rawls, Jay Allen. The plastic line from the charcoal canister vents the gas tank. You should fix it but it won't affect performance. Exactly. My ported TWs...

93 Cobra Mass air and Injectors???

Yes, because your EEC thinks it has 19# injectors. The only way, w/o a chip or tuner, to make it work right is to use the whole set - 24s, Cobra meter, and Cobra EEC.
  16. 86Cobra

93 Cobra Mass air and Injectors???

In simple terms, the Cobra EEC adjusts for the 24# injectors. The Cobra meter is "calibrated" for a Cobra EEC (X3Z) with 24# injectors. The Cobra mass air transfer function (kg/hr vs volts) happens to be similar to the stock GT (A9L) transfer function so a Cobra meter "almost" works with 19s...

Trick Flow ADMITS they didn't put a baffle in my INTAKE!!! OIL GUSHING OUT PVC!!!

Can anyone ID this TB? IS it a 65mm or a stocker?

The blade doesn't have to match the opening. My Accufab 75mm race tb has a 75mm blade and a 90mm opening. It necks down to 75mm at the blade.

Can anyone ID this TB? IS it a 65mm or a stocker?

TB size is based on the blade size, not the opening.

Trick Flow ADMITS they didn't put a baffle in my INTAKE!!! OIL GUSHING OUT PVC!!!

Every new intake I've ever dealt with comes with a baffle that you have to install. They never come installed. My guess is it was in the box 2 years ago and you overlooked it.
