95 GT getting Trickflow upper engine kit and more after 20 years parked, help required.

24lb injectors will certainly be too small, peak power and reliability is not found at 14.7:1, you need the extra fuel to cool combustion temps in places to run a decent timing curve. You're spending big money on the motor, don't cheap out on the fueling and tuning - trying to use something...

    Another Holley conversion finished up

My customers would beat me with a stick if I did all that work for them then left it still using a single coil, dizzy and sucking the air through the drinking straw sized MAF pipe!

    Wiring/Ecm question

As has already been posted, why not just sort the factory injection system out?

Clutch Chirps Until the Pedal is Pushed in

You need to drop the transmission to do the pivot ball.

Clutch Chirps Until the Pedal is Pushed in

If it's the pivot ball you should be able to stop it by grabbing the end of the clutch fork with your hand whilst it's idling, my new build is doing the same thing with a brand new bearing.

Is the foxbody considered a muscle car?

About 1400kg, so 3086 of your lb's :-) The five seater weighs a bit more.

Is the foxbody considered a muscle car?

I forget that the US didn't get the nifty JDM cars like what we do ;-) Even the poverty pack Resort Runner GT has 10kw more than a '94 GT Mustang, is 4wd and 600lb lighter - Ours has the 180kw motor, totally stock it spun up 177kw on the Dyno. Long story short, take the engine from a Lancer...

Is the foxbody considered a muscle car?

Not specifically fox I know but my wifes 25 year old totally stock Mitsubishi Expo people mover is lighter and makes more power and torque than my '94 GT - ergo it's not a Muscle car, it's barely a Sports car...

    O2 sensor removal help

Just get a o2 sensor socket and be done with it, no chopping, plus mine are made from impact friendly material so they don't mind being abused when trying to get a rusted sensor out.

    Wire tuck question

Think of it this way, the pin in the harness at the eec end is crimped on, the harness pins on both sides of the joint connector are crimped on, the plugs for your injectors, coils, sensors, etc are all crimped on. From Toyota Corollas to Bugatti Veyrons - everything is crimped.

    Wire tuck question

Not all crimpers are equal, I used to solder, tape then heatshrink everything until the day I found strands of wire broken right up by some of the joins in a harness that I'd built some years prior. Decent roll and hex crimpers change the way you look at wiring work - no more splashes of solder...

    Wire tuck question

Solder lacks flexibility and durability in hot environments - for a immobilised cable it's fine but when it's going to be almost constantly moving and heated/cooled you're much better off crimping. Have a look at most factory harnesses - even for shielded cables they crimp rather than solder.

    Wire tuck question

This won't be the answer you're looking for, but you just need to extend them using the same gauge as what is fitted. Keep an eye out for any wiring that may be shielded cable, and don't solder anything - crimp.

Corbeau harness bar...schroth dot 4 point harness and racing seats on street car...safe?

Keep functionality first and foremost when it comes to belts, harnesses in a street car will drive you bonkers and you'll never keep them tight enough because you'll want to move around to use mirrors, etc. There's nothing cool about doing something counterproductive to your car!

Need help installing ignition toggle switch

Yes indeed, we're making a few changes this winter (new cage, gearbox rebuild, rear gears, ECU and a re-wire) so it's currently torn down - I'm using my steering column for a foot rest at the moment, the class I'm moving to requires the steering lock be disabled so while it's out I ran the...

Need help installing ignition toggle switch

Just adding some info to this thread, yes, I know it's from 2008, but hopefully it'll help a few folk out. Here are where each pin goes to on a 1994 Mustang GT: GND --> P1,P2 (During start only) B1 --> A1 (ACC/RUN but not during start),I2 (During start only) B2 --> A2 (ACC/RUN but not during...

    Fastest stock sn95 5.0 shootout

    Would it be worth it?

Ultimately, it depends on how much disposable income you have, a old car compared to a new one carries the extra cost of preservation, rust proofing/repairs and parts availability is more of an issue. I'd keep the car you have, 20-30 years from now it'll have the same status as the old car...

Disect my timeslips. I want to break the 12s.

You're loosing the time before halftrack, probably in the gearshifts, or you've got something that's holding your high-rpm power back.

Do our fuel pumps have a constant whine?

With our car completely gutted, you can hear a quite whine as it primes before startup, beyond that you won't hear a thing once it's running. By gutted, I mean there's no soundproofing, interior.
