I like 18s on early cars...as long as the ride height and stance pull it all together. This is 18x9 and 18x8 on my coupe.

Good question...I was thinking of this stuff http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=11165&itemType=PRODUCT but I wonder if a bunch of them would have made a difference over such a long period of time.

Who gets the Mustang Plus sale magizine in the mail?

I think you are right I remember seeing the add and thinking I should have waited to buy mine. Also, Summit Racing sells these seats for $280 each plus $60 each for the adapter brackets...

How did you get started working on cars?

My father bought my Mustang new in 68 and it was his daily driver until I turned 16 in 1981 when he gave it to me. Before I was out of high school I had converted it from an auto to a 4 spd, built a new engine, painted it in the garage and put a 31 spline 9" rear in after the original 8" blew...

    68 Coupe Just Finished

I installed the rocker molding on the drivers side to see if I like it. What do you guys think? Should I leave it on or take it off? I also recently installed some Scat ProCar Rally seats.

    ORIGINAL FORD TOOLING SHEET METAL

I bought NOS right front fender and trunk lid when I painted my car and they required some work for an acceptable fit.

    Cam Comparison

That 20 additional degrees of duration is huge. That cam really needs some compression to maintain some low RPM cylinder pressure/torque. You might also need some steeper gears and a higher stall converter if you running an automatic.

    High compression HP

Not sure on the HP but I think you need more cam for that compression and heads. Something in the 240-250 @.050 range minimum with a 110 deg LSA. With the relatively short timing on the one you specd it seems low RMP cylinder pressure would be rather large.
