    GT40 Vs Cobra intake?

    I would take the any GT40 variant over the typhoon intake, their build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Also the typhoon is a copy of the RPM intake, which was built for the 1500-6500 power band, and the GT40 types were for idle-5000, so it would also depend on what your current combo/goals...

    Hey Adam, while we're on this, and you have the HIDs, could you take a night time picture of the lights up against a wall or something, it would be nice to see just how bad the glare/cutoff is with HIDs and our stock style headlamps.

    Subscribing as well, I've always been curious if these headlights with the retrofit HIDs would work well or not, I really would like better lighting, but lack the custom work skills needed to make some of the nicer DIY setups we're seen here.

    I wouldn't worry about subframe connectors on the s197s, both Maximum Motorsports and Griggs state that they arn't necessary on this chassis. Spend your money elsewhere?

    you can order high quality ones from latemodelrestoration.com among others. i have their ultra clear set of headlight and turns, they've lasted for over 2 years now with no moisture or fading. ive been very happy with them. only con would be the price i suppose.

    yea i have no idea how they came up with those codes, im going back on monday and insisting that the do the diagnosis correctly this time. (ive already checked around for vac leaks, cleaned maf, etc, cant figure out whats going on with it, letting them figure it out, and then ill fix it)

    ok well i just went out and looked, i see the o2 on the driver side just before the 1st cat, and none downstream, ill assume that the other one is just before the 1st cat on the passenger side. they dont look overly fun to get to, would you suggest trying to change it from above? or front under...

    the car in question is a 95 Gts, it should have 2 heated o2 sensors right? where are they located in the pipes? 1 of mine has gone bad, according to cel and the shop i take it to, they want to go through ford directly for a replacement o2, which will prolly be overpriced as usuall. id prefer...

    just if you do, try to make sure to get LEDs that have a type of diffuser on them, otherwise the light they put out is very directional, and youll end up with very bright spots and dim spots

    another +1 for the balancer, i had to replace mine on the last stang, it didnt even look too bad, car vibrated badly tho, changed balancer. bingo.

    hows the fit of the flowmaster tailpipes and the catback as a whole? lots of trimming or any rubbing? i had been considering going with their catback since people seem to think it fits very nicely and just replacing the mufflers with some that are the same size, but straight through design /hijack
