    Teksid Block Questions

There are plenty of WAP block cars running 1000whp. I don't think you will have a problem with your number. I was told there is debate as to which is stronger WAP or teksid? I don't know. But all I know is lower end strength is a biggy for me and I will buy whatever is strong. I don't want to...

    Service engine light issue

Ok, here is the problem. You have a code p0174 then for lean conditon bank 2. You can always tell which bank is which by which head sits further forward. When you stand in front of your car it will be the right side. (drivers side) A vacuum leak will normally throw both p0174 and p0171, both...

    Sputtering??

fuel is much less likely than ignition. IE. plugs and wires..... Still possable though. which is cheaper and easier to do? Yeah do the plugs wires. If you have an IDS you can do a power balance test when this occurs to see what cylinder is dropping. Then you can test run a different wire on that...

    Sputtering??

Try plugs and wires man. Sounds like an engine missfire. Alot of times when you load up the engine at low rpms like that it causes alot of stress on the ignition and if you got a bad wire or plug it will show up then. It may still run fine at higher rpm with load. Sometimes when I get a car...

Car wont shift outta 1st and idle is high.

Also check the TR sensor on the trans linkage. If that where bad it would fail safe into 1st or 4th. Limp mode. Do you have a check engine light on? I can look at the work shop manual if you still haven't figured this out and give you a hand on it via online. Let me know. Cert. ford tech.

unusual idle/click click - vid inside

Is the lean code just one bank or both banks? Meaning p0171 and p0174? If your get both banks lean you 9 out of 10 have a vacuum leak. Unless the maf is bigger and then the pcm can't tell that so your voltage at the pcm from the maf is to high at idle which means its seeing to much air or at...

not a mustang question but indead a 4.6 question

Here is what you do. Look at both motors and see how many valve cover bolts each has. This will determine if they are romeo or windsor. Romeo has 11 and windsor has like 13 I believe. If both are the same then you should be ok. Is the stang motor an auto or stick? You may have to change over to...

    Severely annoying starting problem..need opinions

Hey if you had an ids you could look at the fuelpres pid and determine if the fuel pressure was enough on start up. You can rule out a crank sensor by determining if the tach moves up some when you are cranking on it. If it doesn't you should check your connection on the crank sensor if its good...

Car is still cutting out please help

Wow 25psi is not right in the least bit. That is where your problem lies. I am telling you, you definitely need at least 35-40psi at idle. It is possable to have put in another bad fuel pump. Make sure that your fuel pressure is good. Try a different fuel press. gauge maybe. Curious what happens...

    Mysterious PROBLEM for 98 Gt

If you are that set on checking your coil packs, use a Kv probe to test if they are firing when the engine is cold. I don't think that is your problem though.

    97 mustang no spark

Hey man check crank position, no crank position no spark. Common problem. If not that you may be looking at a pcm fault. Hard to diagnose a crank no start concern without looking at the car personally. Anymore ? just ask .
