Took my 96 gt to the ford place to get the front end alligned and they told me I needed ball joints. They said they couldn't replace the them they had to replace the control arms. Is this true or are they just trying to upsell? Thanks.

I can crank the car up and head down the road and it will run fine for a minute or two then it will develop a misfire and sometimes it will backfire. I can stop somewhere and let it sit for 10 min or so and take off again and it will run fine and then start to misfire again. what could this be...

My 96 gt needs an engine. Should I build this one or swap a used engine in with 60 to 70 thousand miles on it. I'm looking at maybe a PI engine from about 1250 to 1450 dollars. Would it be cheaper to build mine since I already have PI heads on it? What do you guys think would be cheaper?

I am getting alot of oil in the intake pipe does this mean the engine is worn out. The oil is leaking on the ground from the intake pipe. I was thinking of getting a good used engine from MPS autosalvage 99-04. and swapping it one weekend. would it be a good swap? Would it be fairly easy? Thanks.

I was just woundering when an engine is worn out does the oil usually come back threw the intake pipe. Cause I took the intake pipe off and there is oil in it. My car spark knocks really bad in 3rd gear running at the dragstrip. What should I do? I have a SCT Xcal 2. Do I tune the spark advance down or Global spark down or try to richen the fuel mixture? Thanks.

What are some of you guys getting at the track with Nitto's and then what are you getting with MT's and BFG's? On my Nitto's I can only get 2.10s out of them and no better. And that is with like 15lbs of air in them. How much time can I drop with a better set of tires? Thanks.
