What was it about the tranny. Like specifically what was it?

    99 Gt Auto Shutter

Yeah, its a vibration in the engine definitely. The next step for me is to take off the serpentine belt and rev it to eliminate any accessory pulleys.

    99 Gt Auto Shutter

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue, and it feels like a miss to me as well. The reason I say that is, I had MSD packs on the car and one went bad. Found the problem pack and replaced it with my stock one. Started having the vibration issue at highways speeds. Tested it by...

    Driveline Shimmy

Found the problem. Just wanted to post a fix in case other people have the same issue. It was a bad transmission mount.

    Steering Shaft Question (pic)

I was under the car the other day and spotted this rubber donut on the steering shaft. It seems to be broken. What’s the function of this rubber piece and should it be fixed right away? The internet has let me down while trying to research this.

    Driveline Shimmy

Thanks for the move. I'm going back to them tomorrow. On the phone they sounded a little perplexed and muttered something about pinion angle? Funny you mention transmission mount, I've read a lot of threads about highway vibration concerning the V6 Mustangs and tranny mounts.

Do you have a reputable speed shop around? I'd have that tuned on a dyno.

    Driveline Shimmy

Hello guys, I have an issue that has me stumped. I recently started a new job downtown and had to travel more highways with the mustang. I noticed a driveline shimmy or vibration around 65mph in 4th gear, under load, TC locked and slight throttle. It just shook my car like my driveshaft was...

    Quiet(er) mufflers? Recommendations?

I realize I may be the first person ever to ask this question, but can anyone recommend a quiet sounding but nice subtle tone muffler? Similar to the Bullitt muffler. I'm getting older, and my SLP LT's w/catted X and bassani catback is just getting too obnoxious. Stock mufflers would be ok, but...

    2004 GT Heads+Cams for sale

cdwininger, I'll run by the place later today, but I would venture to guess that the shipping costs will be about the same...considering the size and weight accounts for most of the cost. I'll get you a hard number tomorrow after work. Consider them sold. Thank you!

    2004 GT Heads+Cams for sale

I would search the 4.6 Tech forum to see what else, if anything, you would need to put these in a 98. I know for a fact that these heads will bolt right in, but I would ask about an intake. You might need the P.I. lower intake

I just got back from getting an estimate on the shipping. To that zip code it's going to be around $55 per box, and there will be two boxes... so $110. If the price goes up with extra shipping and packing costs, I'll eat those. So, shipped to you door, $110. And yes, these are Romeo heads.
