generally speaking stock axles and real power dont get along to well with slicks but its kinda hit and miss. Some people can run 10's with them and some break turning 13's so... As far as the DS goes for about 250 i would replace it anyway it helps with rotational mass and all that.

its mostly stock, the only mods being exhaust/gears ignition. I just thought i heard that you could open up the gap a little if you had an MSD box and coil

I just installed my MSD 6A as well as new 9mm MSD wires, new cap rotor blaster TFI coil new Accel TFI module, should i open up the spark gap a little? I though i heard somewhere that you could run a little more gap if you got enough juice.

i would just stick with the battery, i am putting mine in tom the pos. is going on the battery but i the ground is just going to the frame its to far away to run a ground IMO. Where do you want to mount yours that would make the batt not an option?

upon further inspection it may not be a bad one but it is the wrong one, i looked up the part number and there are 2 one for an auto and one for a 5-speed they sent me the one for a auto. Thats prolly where my problem is
