CAI vs. Stock Intake Arm 03 Cobra

Once you bolt on that whipple I would look into a JLT intake. Been proven that twin screws don't like intake restrictions.

    Paxton 1220SL

This is a stupid reply and has no relavant, helpful information. Yes, you should be careful with your bottom end and pistons and connecting rods. The car in the video is a 600hp MODULAR MOTOR! We are talking about a low boost, maybe 350-400 horsepower 5 liter. Unless it's a terminator (03-04...

    looking into cobra

Old post but I'll reply. In 03' you did have the 10th anniversary model. Mechanically the same as any 03'. Different wheels and interior treatment. Some people refer to early run cars or later run cars. Ford changed from green antifreeze to gold. The blower snout had a bolt in it on early...

    Original Motor or Replacement?

I looked at the pictures a little closer, the underhood paint(shock towers) does not match the exterior of the car (appears to be green). This concerns me, make damn sure this is actually an 03 cobra. Carfax that vin for sure. Also, don't quote me, I'm not sure ford made an 03 cobra in green.

    Original Motor or Replacement?

Well, I agree with the op. If car is stock, why would the only mod be painted/replaced valve covers? This is not an easy mod. Passenger side is not too bad. Drivers side in a giant pita. In most cases the brake booster needs to be unbolted from the firewall and move out of the way. Who knows...

How Do You Like Your Terminator? Pics?

Absolutely love mine and I went from a twin turbo fox body to this car. Just an incredible all-around car. Very tough drivetrain. 800 rwhp is gonna need a turbo kit or Kenne bell/Whipple plus some nitrous though. Thats a pretty big number for pump gas. Make sure the tune is dead on and the...

Are the Ford Racing Plug Wires Solid Core?

    They are not solid core.

    2003 or 2004 Cobra?

Maybe he's referring to the cats, I do believe they differ from the 03's. Ford made some simple changes to get rid of the gas guzzler tax in 04'.

    fair price?

I agree with UM. I got a pretty freakish deal on mine. $21,400. Bought it from a saturn dealer in missouri. 32,000 miles. Last September. I searched for over six months and never saw one that low at a dealer. The one your looking at is an anniversary model and should command a little extra.

    Mustang beginner with simple questions

The Gt 500 is a 4V not a 3V. The KR version is 550hp. It also does not have the independant rear suspension as the 03/04 version did.

    20 psi with 2.6 k/bell look .possible?

By no means an expert on this, but my brother in law runs 24-25 psi on his buick GN all day long with 93 pump gas. Has good tune, Big injectors and a methenal injection kit. The kit really lowers the inlet temps. He keeps a big knock sensor mounted right in front of him, only on the hottest of...

why is my car so slow

Don't know why I'm even bothering to reply, must be bored. The statement claiming $ for $ an import will respond to parts better is rediculous. First of all said parts will cost more for an import than a domestic. Tb on import, way more the tb on mustang. I've probably got ten grand in my car...

    Twin Turbo Kit on Ebay

Junk, have heard decent things said of the intercoolers though. I would not even buy the piping, how do you know it's gonna fit? Took me many, many hours, several pounds of welding wire, and a lot of head scratching, but I built my own system. Been on there 3 years now, with many miles of smiles!

42# injectors+SC+New motor to break in (no tune for 500miles) = FMU?

If you plan on getting into boost during break in, then that fmu is important. Even with your 42's and matching mass air, the stock computer is going to try and keep the air/fuel ratio on the lean side, it does not know you are boosted. You want a somewhat fat air/fuel ratio under boost. The fmu...

Help with elec. fuel pressure gauge

Did ohm test. Got less than 1 ohm. Like .2-.3. This i'm sure is good. Definately grounded. Wondering if sending unit isn't seeing pressure. Can't for the life of me, see why not though. Do have a couple different size adapters on schrader valve to get the unit to thread on. Unless one of you...

Help with elec. fuel pressure gauge

Put jumper with alligator clips on it to be sure. It was grounded for sure. No change. Guess I'll be sending back entire gauge to summit. Thanks for replys, and any new ones.

25 mpg and 350 h.p. - how to do it?

Small turbo, big turbo, doesn't really matter. As long as you are out of boost the car will get just about the same gas mileage as before. You will get 350hp easy with good turbo kit, even with all the stock top end stuff. Will need a few other items in order to do it safely though.

Help with elec. fuel pressure gauge

Confirmed ground via my test light, hooked it to 12v source, touched the sending unit, light came on. Will try ohm meter test on it though. Thanks.
