Figured it was time for an update.
started my winter project.
Goal was to clean up the inside of the trunk. Remove surface rust, prime/paint.
Then do the same for everything rear of forward leaf spring mounting point.
Discovered that the taillight panel was rusted through in several spots and...
Been fighting an rmp noise issue with the fitech. Found a used Msd box for $50 on the marketplace. Installed that, grounded the throttle body to the block and added a ferrite filter . Rpm noise issue seems to be gone. Guess I’ll have to drive it more :)
Today was a good day!
Brake system is 100% together and works.
Had to bleed the system like 4 times but she stops great!
Got about 30 min of drive time . Found and fixed a vacuum leak, and found 2 squeaks. The leaf springs are squeaky , and the little tab that that holds your insurance...
I have 3 mass air exam’s from running foxbody mustangs. An A9L , A9p , and one from an 89 auto.
$300 a pop for the A9L or A9P and $250 for the other.

Everything is now installed. Getting the parking brake cables in place was a blast.
Started the bleeding process . Fronts took fluid quickly without issue, couldn’t get fluid to the rears. Gonna try again tomorrow with a helper.
Hoping it’s just an air bubble and not a clogged or collapsing...
Things are going slow but they are going. Each time I find something broken or missing I’m put back a week waiting for it.
The front discs are completely installed

Pulled the front drums and both cylinders were full of water and I’m guessing were 20+ years old. I don’t believe they were functioning at all.
The rears however seemed to have been serviced in the last few years and showed signs of new hardware and have clean...
Alright, the plan was to redo the front brakes and post some nice pics of everything cleaned up and ready to go.... but things don't always go as planned.
I'll save everyone the boring details and say i took a short trip to see someone local who got me on the right track. Will post more soon.

Pulled the hard lines down to the distribution block. the line to the front had clean fluid in it, the rears were empty.
