    There just isn't that much difference between the different brands to base the decision on performance delta. I would go more for fit and underhood looks and go with either Winters suggestion, the K&N kit or one of my favorites today is the Steeda - Looks good underhood (brushed aluminum look)...

    First of all, beauty of a build up. You could always shoot the BBK wording with some black engine paint rendering it mostly invisible if it bothers you. Congrats and lots of luck getting it installed and running right. Please follow up and post some running vids when you can.

    Not a fan of FR500s either. I love 04GreyGtUSAF's recommendation of the DD bullitts - especially if you want to stay 17s and save weight and cost of the tires themselves.

    2003 Cobra rims on a jellybean GT?

    Here's my "bean" with 17x9 '03 Chrome Cobras with 1.25" wheel adapters (spacers) in the rear. They are a ~.25" too much, but it's what I have. IMO, can't go wrong with that deal.

    SpeedCal question

    I think the speedcal that I received came with instructions in the box on a sheet of paper that gave more dip switch setting based on other gear ratios, but can't find it now or I would scan it for you. Sorry, I don't have it but maybe someone has seen or has this can post it up?

I've broken my fair share of Craftsman tools and sockets plus my Sears ratchets that I started out with have a larger space between the grab points and in tight spaces can mean the difference...
