Does adding a T-Rex in-line pump defeat the purpose of having a 255 in-tank pump? I've heard it will just "dead-head" and stifle the 255 pump. Is this true or does it actually help?

You can put the distributor in at any position as long as the rotor as pointing to the #1 cyl. Just limits your room to bump up the timing like in your situation... I also installed the same kit. The stage 1 cam and this kit are designed for the 2,000-6,500 range. Hammer it above 3500 rpm and...

I just rebuilt my pump 2 months ago and it's quieter than uh... something that's really quiet. But seriously, the rebuild kit is only $10 - $15 from Autozone, only takes a couple hours and it works awesome!!

No. 3" to 2.5" adapters are welded to the h-pipe. the headers are seperate, like they should be. It's a dark picture, I'll try to get a better pic up tonight...
