Performer RPM II & Hood issues

Does the RPM II intake fit under our stock hoods without any issues? Hoping to go with AFR 185s and that intake but if there is an issue with hood clearance it might negate my choice a bit...

    Canton oil pan/girdle with studs?

Anyone use Canton main girdle windage tray and pan with main studs? I have heard that the studs won't work because of oil pump clearance issues? Thanks

I also believe that the lifter galley's are taller on a roller block.

    High Compression and Blower?

Is anything done to those GT40 heads? Any port or valve work? If you are putting 270 with stock gt40 heads I would bet you'd get over 300 with some different heads. Of course you'd want to stay with a 64 or 65cc head because any smaller your CR is going to go up even more. As far as the...

    Mystichrome?

    Some Progress Pics

I really like the blue you chose and you are right that house of kolor paints are expensive. I would like to paint my stang a little darker blue but now sure which color now because I saw the house of kolor swatch binder.:jaw:

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

I think I am leaning toward the TW heads because they are a bit cheaper and will be a good choice esp. with their matching intake. What size bolt/stud do the 185 and TW heads require? I don't have to drill and tap a 1/2in hole right. Thanks

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

I was going to get a compression ratio of somewhere in between 9-9.5:1 if I kept my GT40 heads that have 65.5 chambers. I was also going to get roush 200 with 64cc. with either of those heads I was going to put a sq on it with about 8 lbs boost. Now I am thinking about just going N/A due to...

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

331 stroker, probe srs flat top pistons, e-cam, stock 24lb injectors, 65mm throttle body, 70mm mass air, stock cobra intake. If I have to get a new intake in order to get my 300rwhp goal its not the end of the world. I wanted to keep the engine bay look as close to stock as possible.

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

Those are some good numbers. I didn't want to have to change my intake. Will my stock Cobra intake be ok for the 205's? What are the specs on your cam? I would like to pass the sniffer

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

I was thinking about a blower but I need a bigger combustion chamber to get down to a blower friendly CR. I was going to stay with my GT40 heads, give a little work to them and then bolt on a v-2 sq. Down the road I think that a blower will cost me more and also give me more power but a h/c/i...

Twisted Wedge or AFR's Help me choose

Wouldn't 205 intake runners be too much? I thought 185 was cutting it close? I am not sure I am willing spend the $$ on heads that are 1600-1700 bucks like the TFS CNC heads.
